Why does my air conditioner smell of mould or damp?
The bad smell almost always comes from mould and bacteria built up in the filter, the blower or the evaporator, where moisture and dirt combine. It's fixed with a deep hygienic cleaning of the split unit.
Why is my air conditioner leaking water inside?
It's usually caused by the condensate tray or drain being blocked with dirt and mould, so the water overflows instead of draining away. Our hygienic cleaning clears the tray and drain to stop the leak.
Why isn't my air conditioner cooling enough?
The most common causes are very dirty filters and evaporator (fixed with cleaning), or low refrigerant due to a leak (fixed by repairing the leak and recharging the gas; our gas recharge service is coming soon). A technical maintenance visit can diagnose which one applies to you.
How often should an air conditioner be cleaned?
We recommend a deep hygienic cleaning at least once a year, before summer, and more often for hospitality businesses or if there are symptoms like bad smell or dripping.
What does split unit cleaning include?
It includes a visual inspection of the interior, a review of its real condition, and a deep clean when needed.
Do you work in Barcelona?
Yes, we work across all of Barcelona: Eixample, Gràcia, Poblenou, Sants, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Les Corts and the rest of the districts, as well as L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and the metropolitan area.
Can I request a review with no commitment?
Yes, we carry out a visual review and diagnosis beforehand so you can decide with real information.
Do you handle emergencies outside office hours?
No. We work during office hours: Monday to Friday 9:00–19:00 and Saturday 10:00–14:00. If your unit stops working, message us on WhatsApp at any time and we'll give you the first available appointment.
Why isn't my air conditioner heating properly?
If your unit is reversible (heat pump), the most common causes are dirty filters, low refrigerant, or a fault in the defrost cycle. We check this in our pre-winter heating mode check.
